Thomas Gaultier is Of Counsel and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2015. His practice focuses on the areas of international corporate law and Alternative Dispute Resolution, among others.
He has extensive experience in negotiation and conflict mediation, specifically in the construction and distribution sectors.
He is a guest lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University Faculty of Law where he teaches negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and Anglo-Saxon contracts and he teaches mediation and arbitration workshops and seminars in Portugal and abroad on a regular basis.
Experience
Advising a multinational company in the construction sector on the structuring of a works contracts for the construction of hospital and hotel projects in French speaking African countries.
Advising a multinational company in the food sector on the management of the contractual relationship with its Portuguese subsidiary.
Advising private clients on the acquisition and sale of properties in Portugal, including advise on tax matters and non-habitual residence regime.
