Rui Cardinal Carvalho is a Senior Associate Lawyer and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2017.
Throughout his career he has concentrated his practice in matters related to Corporate, Commercial Law and M&A, with a particular focus on the structuring of corporate restructuring transactions.
He is particularly involved in the corporate and commercial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs and restructuring of corporate groups with a presence in Portugal, as well as in transactions in Mozambique.
He has extensive experience in corporate restructuring operations, in which he provides advisory support at all stages, namely in the analysis of the corporate and commercial aspects, definition of the structure of the operation, as well as the negotiation and drafting of the underlying contracts.
He also has experience in commercial arbitration and corporate litigation.
