Paulo Teixeira Pinto is an Of Counsel and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2008. He is part of the Compliance and Risk Management Committee and Sustainability Commission and Quality Management Committee.
He is deeply involved in the social and cultural environment, as Chairman of the Board of the General Meeting of the Lisbon Architecture Triennial and Chairman of the Board of Instituto Lusíada de Cultura. Throughout his career he has served in a number of related roles, including Member of the Advisory Committee of the Faculty of Humanities, Coimbra University, Member of the Jury of Prémio da Universidade de Lisboa (Lisbon University Award) Member of the Strategic Steering Committee of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at the Portuguese Catholic University, Member of the General Council of the Portuguese Foundation “A Comunidade Contra a Sida” (The Community Against AIDS), Member of the Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Círculo Eça de Queiroz, Chairman of the Board of the General Meeting of Sociedade Histórica da Independência de Portugal (Historical Society), Member of the High Patronage of Ajuda de Berço - Associação de Solidariedade Social (non-profit organization), Member of the Academia de Letras e Artes (Acadamy of Humanities and Artes and Chairman of Causa Real.
Similarly, over a long period of time he maintained a strong relationship with education where he was the Secretary-General and teacher at Universidade Livre de Lisboa, President of the Advisory board of Nova Forum – Institute for Executives Education, Nova University Economics School, Lisbon and taught a Strategy class in an Executive Master course at the Portuguese Catholic University. He also taught at the Law Faculty and Humanities Faculty (Specialization course in Documental Sciences) at the University of Lisbon for which he was the Vice-Chairman of the General Council where he was awarded a medal by the University of Lisbon.
He was the Secretary of State of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Spokesperson for the 12th Constitutional Government, as well as the Representative of the Portuguese Government in the OECD "Public Management" Programme
