Abreu Advogados hosts the Seminar of the UIA

On January 12th and 13th, 2018, Abreu Advogados is hosting at its headquarters a Seminar organised by the Mediation and Conflict Prevention and Sports Law Commissions of the UIA - Union Internationale des Avocats. The Seminar’s theme is Mediation for Sports Disputes: Turning Adversaries Into Teammates".

The Seminar, sponsored by Abreu Advogados, aims to address the growing importance of mediation of sports disputes, ending with a simulation of sports mediation.

Pedro Pais de Almeida, Partner at Abreu Advogados and President of the UIA, will deliver the opening address, while the closing speech will be delivered by Fernando Veiga Gomes, Partner and head of the Sports Law practice area at Abreu Advogados and President of the Sports Law Commission of the UIA.

Thomas Gaultier (Of-counsel and Vice President of the Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission of the UIA), Alexandre Miguel Mestre (Of-counsel of Abreu Advogados) and André Pereira da Fonseca (Associate Lawyer at Abreu Advogados) will take part in the discussion panels as Speakers.
