Within the scope of the international expansion and growth strategy of Abreu Advogados and FBL Advogados (local partner in Angola), the firms will participate at the 4th edition of “iPAD Angola” (Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development) – an international event intended to promote networking among public and private investors and building partnerships that will contribute to the development of Angola. Both Firms will be Gold Sponsors of this forum, which will be held at the Epic Sana hotel, in Luanda, from July 3 to 5.
During this three-day event, participants will be able to attend more than 20 presentations, 12 roundtables, 1 technical workshop and 3 legal workshops, on key issues regarding the development of Angola.

Structure of iPAD Angola
This event is divided in three modules: (1) Conferences – taking place in July 3 and 4, simultaneously with the (2) the iPAD Angola Fair – with exhibition stands from several entities; (3) Post-Conference Workshop, promoted by the Gold Sponsors (Abreu Advogados, FBL Advogados and PwC) – on the final day of the event (July 5).

José Eduardo Martins, Partner with Abreu Advogados, will be the sole speaker for Legal workshop - “The environmental civil liability legal system and its impact on preventing and recovering from damages against the recovering of ecosystems”. The event will include two other “Legal Workshops”, one of which will be led by Vítor Ceita, Partner with FBL Advogados on the “Current state of telecommunications and its future trends”.
All the participants in these workshops will be given specific training on the above mentioned subjects.
Post-Conference Workshop - “Roadmap for Infrastructure Partnerships” (July 5)
On the third and final day of the event, a Post-Conference Workshop will be held on “Roadmap Infrastructure Partnerships” – hosted by Abreu Advogados, FBL Advogados and PricewaterhouseCoopers. This Workshop is divided into two parts - “Legal, Regulatory, Bureaucratic and Fiscal Framework” (given by Abreu Advogados and FBL Advogados) and “Information sources, partnership models, finance ecosystem, RIO and the new Law for Private Investment” (introduced by PwC).
